About our tour
Enjoy a relaxed visit off the beaten track to a local organic farm a short drive from Tromsø! Discover the local way of life.
The journey starts here
We start our journey when we pick you up from your hotel and take a short scenic drive to our neighbouring fjord (approx. 30-45 minutes) to Øverstua Gård organic farm. Our certified guide will give you safety instructions before starting the activity and entertain you with stories about the area.
A taste of Northern Norway
Once we arrive, the farmer will greet you with homemade organic refreshments and show you all about how the Arctic organic farm is run: discover the unique challenges and benefits for plants and animals North of the polar circle.
Depending on the weather you will be able to join the farmers inside or outside for a workshop activity.
Feel free to roam
You are welcome to explore Øverstua Gård, along the short, marked tracks on the farm down to the seaside or to visit the lambs in the meadow.
After accomplishing our mission of making Arctic memories, we will drive you safely back to your hotel and send your photos to you in a digital album.
