Your guide will welcome you there and embark on our comfortable Mercedes Sprinter Minibus driven by a professional driver that will ensure your safety on the arctic roads. We want to provide superior quality service by taking a maximum of 15 people per tour, which allows the guide and driver to be available for everyone throughout the tour. The whole round trip lasts around 6,5 hours. The team will pick you up and drop you off in front of our shop in Prostneset, in the city center.

Itinerary through the islands

You will head towards the west coast, driving through the island of Kvaløya. The guide will show you the most beautiful spots to admire on the way and tell you about the history and wildlife of the area. You will stop at some easily accessible spots: From breath taking fjord view, valleys and beaches, you will get to see the arctic landscape that the region has to offer.

Lunch at the restaurant

The tour includes a warm lunch to take a break in a warm and cozy environment. You will reach Sommarøy island for lunch, where you will get a tasty local meal from the Arctic Hotel’s restaurant. Vegetarian or special diets options are available on request while signing up. From Sommarøy, you will be able to admire the fishing village and the popular white sand beaches where locals and visitor love to hang out.

Arctic landscade and wildlife

After that, you will head back towards Tromsø driving a different road, where you might observe dramatic mountains, traditional houses and even wildlife. Every trip can offer a surprise: from stunning sunlight, sunset on the islands, eagles flying above your head to reindeer herds on the way, you will let yourself be guided by the nature around you.

Your memories matter

Our guides will provide professional photographs for you to keep memories of your trip. The photos will be accessible 48hours after the tour through an online photo gallery that the guide will give you access to.
